Falling into God's Grace

The Summer of Revival is over but we continue through October with worship at the Promised Land and we shall call this time "Falling into God's Grace". This week we have a very talented woman coming to lead the music. Her name is Holly Phillips and she currently is the music leader at a United Methodist Church where she is on their staff. They are still not having church services where people come together in person so she is able to be with us this Sunday!! In the last couple of months she has moved to Taneytown with her family and I found out about her amazing abilities. She plays lots of different instruments and is classically trained. She will be leading us through some great old hymns like "Old Rugged Cross" and "I'll Fly Away" but also some newer praise songs like "Multiplied" and "Broken Hallelujah".

Although it is supposed to be a lot warmer than last week (which turned out to be gorgeous in the sun) we will have 2 patio heaters and a propane fire pit to that we will be using as we are Falling into God's Grace. Many thanks to Roger Culp for assembling these items for us and the Ruck family for letting use their propane tanks. We will probably go back to the set-up where myself and the musician will be under the pavilion since it will be a little cloudy tomorrow.

Attached is an electronic version of our bulletin but paper copies will also be on the table at the entrance of the pavilion. The table will also have our approved re-entry plan for the church, along with some daily devotionals, and masks too.

Those in vehicles can park at the bottom of the hill or over by the volleyball net and turn into 95.7FM. The pavilion will be open with heaters on and of course people can sit in chairs anywhere that helps them feel comfortable and enjoy our time of worship together.
