Whew!! Our church is moving forward!! This Sunday for worship we will have communion! For the first time since COVID began people will have the opportunity to dip their bread into the common cup. No worries if that is too much for you because we meet people where they are. We will have bagged bread for you to pick up when you come in and get your bulletin. During communion time you will have many choices. You can come up and dip your bread in the common cup OR you can come up and get a mini cup with juice. IF you get a mini cup you can decide if you are going to receive in the sanctuary or if you will have it later. There are many ways to receive and if you are not with us in the sanctuary and are at home you can bring any elements you want in order to join in during communion time!! We are slowly getting back to normal and want to meet every person where they are.
Attached is the bulletin for this week. We are no longer going to require people to sign in BUT the greeters and the bulletins will continue to be in the parlor after you pass the second doorway. We are not yet passing offering plates so the wooden boxes are available to put your offering in. Of course those at home can give online, use text to give, or mail in the offering to church. In addition, we will be collecting prayers in the prayer box on the table in the parlor. Also, if you have announcement that need to be shared please write them down and give them to me before the service. This will be an ongoing practice for prayers and announcements to help ensure that they are heard and understood by all.
